Description
This Energywell P6 battery pack is the ideal addition to your dashcam. This battery pack was specifically designed for use with dashcams and allows you to use Parking Mode without draining your car's battery. The battery pack charges while driving and controls the power supply to the dashcam once you turn off the car's ignition. It then sends a signal to the dashcam to activate Parking Mode.

Note: To connect the dashcam to the Energywell, you will need a dedicated power cable for your dashcam, which can often be ordered as an option with the camera. The Energywell P6 comes with a 3-wire output cable to which you can connect this permanent power supply. This cable does not have a USB or DC connector for the dashcam.

Connection
The Energywell should be connected to a switched outlet in your car so it only charges while driving. This can be done using the included car charger or a permanently connected cable. If your car's cigarette lighter socket always supplies power (even when the ignition is off), you'll need to connect the battery with the permanently connected cable anyway. This cable can be connected to a fuse in the vehicle's fuse box that only receives power when the ignition is on. Consult your vehicle's manual for details.

Up to 30 hours of power*
The Energywell P6 charges while driving in 50 minutes (using a wired power supply) and then powers the dashcam for up to 30 hours without further draining the vehicle's battery. Once the Energywell is empty, the dashcam shuts down and no longer drains the battery.

*Use time may vary significantly between dashcam models. Dashcams with multiple active features (cloud, GPS, etc.), higher resolution, or multiple cameras consume more power, and operating time may drop to approximately 10 hours.
